The Position

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) reports to the CEO and maintains financial oversight of a portfolio of Post-Acute Hospitals and additional subsidiaries. The CFO is an integral part of the senior leadership team and is expected to be an active participant in developing organization-wide goals and strategies and ensuring the Financial Services Department applies resources appropriately to assist the company in meeting these goals and strategies in compliance with regulatory requirements. The CFO is accountable to the CEO regarding the overall financial operations of the hospitals, subsidiaries and affiliates, and all aspects of the day-to-day fiscal management of the organization. The CFO will have overall authority and responsibility for ensuring accurate monthly financial reporting, distributing accurate and timely key financial indicator reports to various departments and ensuring that financial analysis requests are appropriately prioritized, communicated, and completed. This individual will be a key contributor in achieving the overall mission, goals, and objectives for the company and effectively measuring performance against financial goals.

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will be prepared with the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field.
  • Master’s degree in relevant field.
  • CPA strongly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of progressive financial leadership in a post-acute hospital environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications; excel, word, power point.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Solid understanding of Medicare Reimbursement.
  • Prior experience collaborating with Private Equity sponsors and presenting to potential investors.
  • Strong, devoted work ethic.
  • Track record of success with results-driven organizations.
